Welcome to the Montara Dog Blog.  The purposes of this web site are:

To provide a forum for everyone who walks their dog(s) in Montara and the surrounding trails. See the blog page for further information.

To create a gallery of Montara dogs and their owners, just for fun.  I usually have my little digital camera with me when walking Kaylee, my yellow lab, so if you see me on the trail just stop me and I will take a photo to add to the gallery.  I am usually wearing a Tilley hat, sun glasses and black fanny pack.

And, last but not least, to encourage responsible behavior on the part of dogs and their owners.  I know that it is hard for readers of this blog to believe, but there are people out there who do not like dogs!  Just check out the recent comments received by the Coastsider web site. <http://coastsider.com/index.php/townhall/viewthread/189/> The reasons for this attitude are discussed in further detail on the blog page.
